Course Description:

Ardminnan Golf Club designed by Frank Ainsworth and opened in 1996, measuring 5,544 metres with a Par of 70 and standard scratch of 69 the course record, was shot by Damian Mooney at 68 in May 1998. Ardminnan is a scenic 9-hole course in a picturesque location overlooking the Irish Sea with views of the Isle-of-Man and the Scottish coast on a clear day. Ardminnan also has an Equestrian Centre on site and is located only three miles from the picturesque and popular seaside town of Portaferry where Northern Irelands only aquarium is located. After an enjoyable and memorable round of golf relax and enjoy a drink and a meal in the clubhouse fully licensed bar and restaurant where the visitor is extended an Ulster warm hand of welcome.

Location

Take the A20 from Belfast through Newtownards, Greyabbey and Kircubbin, then the B173 through to the T-Junction at Cloughey. Turn right, and it is approximately 2 miles along the coast road. Alternatively, if travelling from the south or west of Ireland, you can take a 10-minute crossing by car ferry from Strangford to Portaferry town. Sailing every 30 minutes.
