The Golfing Guide, 1911, records "Founded 1911, a nine-holes inland course has been laid out by the club, which has only just been formed. The Hon. Secretary, is Mr. O. A. Pringle, Willoughby House, Enniskillen. However, the 1916 edition of the same publication, gives its location at Killyhevin, which is the same as the one mentioned at the 1896 meeting. In 1944, the club moved to its present location at Castlecoole, and went eighteen-hole in 1988.
