Course Description:
The County Tipperary Golf and Country Club is built on 150 acres. Designed by 1995 Ryder Cup hero Philip Walton. Philip used the natural features of woodland, parkland and the gently flowing Multeen River to create this par-72 6955 yards, with a standard scratch off the back tees. The course is in the most beautiful of settings, and has such superb drainage the golfer has the ideal opportunity to play this championship course all year round. Set in the heart of the Golden Vale, six miles west of the historical town of Cashel.
The County Tipperary Golf and Country Club, incorporates the eighteenth century manor, Dundrum House Hotel, former seat of the Earls of Montalt. The Georgian manor, now a grade "A" hotel, boasts 90-luxurious bedrooms and a highly acclaimed restaurant, while retaining its old world charm and atmosphere. County Tipperary has every comfort a golfer could want and the visitor is assured of a warm welcome here.
Co. Tipperary has an Open Singles every Monday from June to November in 2008. Voted the No. 55-ranked golf course in Ireland, by “Golf Digest Ireland” in 2008. Co. Tipperary Golf & Country Club was voted No. 35 Parkland/Inland Course in Ireland by "Backspin" Irelands leading Golf magazine in 2008.

Location
7-miles west of Cashel. Go to bottom of the town, turn right for Dundrum Road, on for 7 miles, course on your right, 9-miles from Tipperary Town. Go out the Dundrum Road, come out to Dundrum Village, take a right for about half a mile.
Members Achievements
2005 Lady Captain Kay Cross and her Captain’s Prize winner Ann Maher qualified in the Volkswagen/Irish Independent Lady Captain’s Classic in this scotch foursomes format. It was off to the National Finals at The Heritage Golf Club on Monday 3rd October where they were paired with the Co. Louth pair of Sheila Nelson and Vicki Smyth.Co. Tipperary won the East Munster Area Final of the Pierce Purcell Shield, when the beat Ballykisteen by 4 matches to 1 match in May 2001.
Arthur Spring, Senior Tour professional, course architect, doctor, father of Graham, brother of Dick and Donal. Continued the Spring family remarkable achievements when he had an Albatross on the 540 yard 13th playing in a Wings Society outing here in September 2001. He holed-out with a 240 yard, 3-wood.
