Course Description
.
Skibbereen and West Carbery Golf Club has seen many renovations since the club moved to its present location in 1935. The late Eddie Hackett was retained to design and extend the course to 18 holes, which opened in 1992. The course offers a varied test for all golfers, with long holes on the old nine with water coming into play to the left of the 8th green, the new nine are shorter but much tighter holes. The old and new are nicely integrated as only Eddie Hackett could do. Skibbereen and West Carbery has always been considered as the friendliest club in Cork, located within easy reach of all holiday villages in an area of unbelievable scenery.
