Members Achievements

Ballinascorney won the Dublin Team Trophy for the 3rd time at Edmondstown Golf Club on 5th September 2004. The team was Jim Kennedy, Gerard Redmond, Liam Redmond and my old pal Frank Spain.

Mary Lucherini won the green Division of the I.L.G.U. Eastern Division at Co. Meath Golf Club when she shot a 70 net.

Mary McNamara came third in the Bronze division and other club member Patricia Lynch clamed fourth place.

Congratulations, to Ballinascorney now playing their golf out of Oldfield on winning the TSB-sponsored inter-club foursomes at Bray Golf Club in June 2001.

They lost to Kilcock in the quarter final of the Best Cup. I was delighted to see Captain Tom Mealy and President Vinnie Byrne lift the trophy in the South Dublin Captains' Association in August 2001.
