Course Description:

Kilternan Golf Club was founded in 1988 at the Kilternan Hotel Enniskerry Road, Kilternan, Co. Dublin. However in 2005 it had to temporarily move to Powerscourt Golf Club in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow due to re-development works at the hotel. In October 2007, the club moved to the South County Golf club in Brittas.

Members Achievements

Kilternan Ladies trio S. Mulligan, M. Courtney and F. Mahon won the Leinster regional final of the Musgrave's Clubs Challenge and booked their place in the National Finals in the Algarve in October 2001.The ladies of Kilternan won the third team trophy in the Clarins-sponsored Autumn Team finals at Lucan Golf Club in November 2000 when they beat Hermitage in the decider.

On the 1st October 2000, Billy Smyth shot the lights out when he returned a score of 53 net. Billy was then playing off a handicap of 22, went around in 75 gross. Having just the one birdie, he backed up his score with nine par's. His score is the best ever shot that I know of.
