The anchor match of Tom Gohery with Padraic King was also halved against Tom Mageean with Glen Thompson. Giving the Ulster Champions a 4 matches to 1 match passage to the All-Ireland Final against Muskerry Golf Club in the afternoon. Muskerry were to win their first Jimmy Bruen Shield with a 3 matches to 2 match victory.
