Course Description
.
Castletroy Golf Club is a mature parkland course which has been popular with visitors throughout the years. In 2004, the club, in association with Eddie Connaughton (Course Architect) commenced extensive work on the development of the course resulting in five new green complexes and six new tee box complexes being completed. It is planned to continue with the development of the course in 2005 resulting in all eighteen-holes being completely redesigned and in play for 2006.

A full eighteen-hole will be in play up to the end of July 2005 when work is due to commence. Holes such as the new 4th will provide a test for all golfers where only a well placed tee shot will facilitate the opportunity to hit the green with the second shot. The eighteenth is a very difficult finishing hole, with the green well protected by large bunkers.

The clubhouse offers members and visitors all the very best in modern amenities. The locker rooms, showers and toilets were refurbished to the highest standards in 2004.

The clubhouse bar offers a full selection of drinks to help all golfers unwind while the staff on duty create a very homely and welcoming atmosphere. Full catering facilities are available offering an extensive choice of foods while the golf shop will provide all the golfers with the necessary equipment to play the game.
