Course Description:

Seapoint Golf Links was designed by Ryder Cup player Des Smyth and Associates and opened for play in June 1993. The course was designed to accommodate all standards of golfers from the beginners to the low handicapper and professional alike. The aim was that golfers enjoy the challenge. Seapoint is a Championship Course 6064 m par-72 with a standard scratch of 73 from the back tees, constructed on 260 acres of links land. The beauty of links golf means the course is playable all year round. Four sets of tee boxes on most holes and large manicured greens are features that are a pleasure to golfers all year round. Mature trees border the course on the west and offer a contrast to the links, while water hazards come into play on six of the first nine holes.

Seapoint has a fine clubhouse and a warm welcome is extended to visitors and societies. Societies are welcome and group rates are available. Voted the No. 50-ranked golf course in Ireland, by “Golf Digest Ireland” in 2008. Seapoint was voted No. 30 Links/Shoreline Course in Ireland by "Backspin" Irelands leading Golf magazine in 2008, the panel comprised of a selection of 52 Professional and amateur golfers throughout Ireland.
