| Kilcoole Golf Club was founded in 1992 and was designed by Brian Williams, a prominent member of Grange Golf Club. Its early day were quite turbulent with a prominent court case between the members and the original owner. However since then this relatively new club has made magnificent strides and have recently opened their state of the art clubhouse. Water plays a major part in navigating your way around this 9 hole parkland course measuring 5324 metres off the white stakes with a par 70 and a standard scratch of 69. It features an island green. Kilcoole was the location for the long running soap Glenroe and is set in the most tranquil part of "The Garden of Ireland". A warm welcome awaits the visitor at Kilcoole golf club and a memorable game of golf is assured. Stay out of the water and you will have a good card. |

Kilcoole Golf Club won the Powerscourt Cup in 2004 when the team was, Ivan Brennan, Donal Gill, Tom Hudson, Alan Moody, Frank Kelly, Dermot Brown, Andrew McDonald, James Carroll, Michael Donnelly, Patrick Doyle, Stephen Whyte, John Doyle, Michael Carew, they were captained by Andrew King.2005 Lady Captain Collette Browne and her Captain’s Prize winner Anne Cooney qualified in the Volkswagen/Irish Independent Lady Captain’s Classic in this scotch foursomes format. It was off to the National Finals at The Heritage Golf Club on Monday 3rd October where they were paired with the Malahide pair of Ann Evans and Alison Taylor.
Kilcoole won the Dublin Team Trophy in 1994 and 1995 they also won the Longman’s Trophy in 1994 and 1997.
