Course Description:

Frankfield Golf Club was founded in 1984 designed by Edward McSweeney measuring 5,205 m Par 68 with a standard scratch of 65. It is a lovely 9-hole parkland course on the rolling hills in the Lee Valley overlooking Cork City.Frankfield is a good test of golf for golfers of all standards. The first is a tough 340 m Pa- 4 index 1 uphill hole with trouble either side of the fairway. The long Par 3 3rd requires a tee shot through a gap in the trees. The finishing hole although index 18 requires a demanding second shot played over trees.

Frankfield boasts a superb 50-bay driving range, which is considered one of the best in Munster and is often used by the Irish National Coach for players in the Munster area. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome at Frankfield where the club is run by the Ryan family and their, hands on approach ensures they will have a pleasant and memorable game of golf.
